At the Visit
After completing a medical and dental history form which will be reviewed  by Dr. Friedman, you are encouraged to discuss any questions or concerns you have.
You will have a thorough head and neck examination and a detailed intraoral exam.

Radiographs will be taken based upon your dental history and present condition. If your previous radiographs are available and current, we can take fewer radiographs or compare them to your new films in order to tell whether your current dental condition is stable.

If there is an area of your mouth which you need to discuss with us, we can project it onto the monitors mounted on the walls with our intraoral camera. That way you can see the area for yourself, 30 times life-size!

Since Dr. Friedman believes that prevention is the best kind of dental treatment, you will be counseled on ways you can improve your oral condition, including proper brushing ( we recommend the Sonicare electric toothbrush) and flossing techniques (Glide floss is best), as well as nutrition advise to improve your overall health.

We believe that we can help you better if we take the time to know you as a person.

We ask questions to find out why you left your previous dentist, what you liked about them, what you would change about your smile if given the opportunity, and want's in the way of your getting what you want.

We also ask your permission to inform you of your condition and what it would take to restore your mouth to optimal health, because that's what each of the staff and our families enjoy.

You have our permission to ask questions, see photos of others who have had  their lives improved with the dentistry we provide, and to go as fast or slow as you like with treatment. After all, it's your mouth!
